Welcome to My Portfolio
Hello, I’m Joshua Leicht, a senior studying Mechanical Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. During my time at UIUC, I’ve had the opportunity to design numerous projects using CAD software and implement them through modern manufacturing techniques. At my internships, I designed a wiping mechanism to be integrated into an existing platform using traditional manufacturing methods. I also designed numerous cosmetic parts for their latest product and assembled the complete product in both SolidWorks and real life. Additionally, through my coursework, I have gained a strong foundation in signals, fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and programming, which allows me to quickly adapt to new challenges. In my free time, I enjoy powerlifting, playing basketball, and singing in the choir.
